My child, who struggles to socialize with others, brought a friend named Hayashi home. Mei, worried about her child’s difficulty fitting in at school, welcomed Hayashi inside. She had heard that Hayashi earned excellent grades and was highly trusted by the teachers. Mei felt relieved that her child had found such a good friend. However, Hayashi harbored a hidden side that had never been revealed to anyone. That kind persona was merely a ruse to win trust. Hayashi’s sinister intentions then turned toward Mei, who had been completely deceived and lulled into a false sense of security.
